Grand Avenue Tattoo & Piercing is a walk-in-friendly custom tattoo studio and fine-jewelry piercing shop in Phoenix, Arizona. All tattoo work is custom-drawn (no flash-only shop), and all piercing jewelry is implant-grade titanium, niobium, or solid 14k gold. The studio is ADHS-licensed (Arizona Department of Health Services) with single-use needles/cartridges and autoclaved tooling.

- **Black & Grey**: Portrait, realism, and shaded pieces in black ink only. Our most requested specialty — nine years of hand-built technique.
- **Color Realism**: Photographic portrait and nature work in full color. Best suited to medium and large placements.
- **Traditional**: American and neo-traditional with bold lines, saturated color, and pieces built to age well for decades.
- **Fine Line**: Single-needle botanical, script, and micro-tattoos. Delicate, intentional, and designed with permanence in mind.
- **Illustrative**: Story-led, style-led work — the space between drawing and tattoo. Great for unconventional concepts.
- **Cover-ups & Large-scale**: Full redesigns, heavy cover work, and back pieces built across multiple sittings.

## Piercing Services

- **Lobes & Helix**: Standard and multi-point ear curation with implant-grade titanium studs.
- **Daith, Tragus, Rook**: Inner-ear placements, fit to your anatomy with precision marking.
- **Septum & Nostril**: 14k gold clickers and labrets, fit to your preferred sit.
- **Navel & Body**: Surface and body work with post-placement follow-up at six weeks.

## Studio Policies

- **Consultations**: Every tattoo begins with a complimentary 30-minute consultation. We'll walk through your concept, matched artist, placement, and a clear quote before you book a sitting.
- **Quotes & Deposits**: Tattoo pricing is artist-specific and set at consultation. A non-refundable deposit secures your booking and applies toward your final session — transferable with 48 hours' notice.
- **Age Policy**: We tattoo clients 18 and over with valid photo ID. No exceptions. Piercings for minors 13+ with a parent present and valid ID for both.
- **Design Revisions**: Two rounds of stencil revisions are included. Additional revisions are handled at your artist's discretion and quoted in advance.
- **Touch-ups**: Complimentary within 60 days for any piece that doesn't heal to plan. Schedule directly with your artist.
- **Payment**: Cash preferred. All major cards accepted with a 3% surcharge. No checks. No crypto.

**Q: How long does a tattoo take to heal?**
A: Surface skin heals in 2–3 weeks. Deeper layers continue healing for 2–3 months. Plan around that: no direct sun, no swimming, and no scrubbing during the first month.

**Q: How should I care for my tattoo the first night?**
A: Remove the bandage after 2–4 hours. Wash with warm water and a gentle unscented soap, pat dry with a clean paper towel, then apply a thin layer of unscented lotion or Aquaphor. Repeat 3–4x a day for the first week.

**Q: How is pricing set for tattoos?**
A: Pricing varies by artist and by the specifics of the piece — style, size, placement, and sitting length. We quote every job at your complimentary consultation so there are no surprises on the day.

**Q: Do you tattoo minors?**
A: No. All tattoo clients must be 18+ with valid photo ID. Piercings are available for clients 13+ with a parent present and two forms of ID.

**Q: How far in advance should I book?**
A: Most of our artists book 4–8 weeks out. Larger custom pieces can run 2–3 months. Walk-ins are welcome for piercings and small flash pieces when chairs are open.
